Visit of the exhibition “Niki de Saint Phalle: The Magical Bestiary”.
Between symbols, myths, and autobiographical narrative, the exhibition invites visitors to explore the role of animals and fantastic creatures in the work of the self-taught French-American artist. Her lifelong inspiration came from her visit to Parc Güell in Barcelona, which planted the idea of a “fantastic garden.”
The universe she created allowed her to preserve a special connection with her inner child. A powerful, committed world, vibrant with energy and poetry…

• 1:30 pm – Meeting at the Granet Museum: visit of the exhibition “Cézanne at Jas de Bouffan” with a museum lecturer.

Thanks to prestigious loans from museums and major institutions worldwide (Paris, New York, Tokyo…), this retrospective presents around one hundred works illustrating the profound influence of Cézanne’s family home, Jas de Bouffan, on his art. Between 1860 and 1899, the estate became a true creative workshop where Cézanne experimented with techniques that would mark his career. He did not depict the city of Aix, seat of bourgeois academicism, but instead preferred the solitude of the Provençal landscapes that surrounded him and which he could not do without. The exhibition includes his famous bathers, intimate portraits, card players, several still lifes… and of course the magnetic Mont Sainte-Victoire.
