Marseille Opera: A First ! 1924-2024… One Hundred Years of Passion…

At the request of several members, we are rescheduling the tour of the exhibition “The Marseille Opera: A First! 1924-2004… One Hundred Years of Passion…”
A temple of lyric art, this unique example of Art Deco architecture is celebrating the centenary of its reconstruction. One hundred years of archives and documents also evoke the backstage and daily work of putting on shows, staging, sets, costumes, etc., with Isabelle Aillaud, curator of the exhibition, and Jean Robert Caïn, organist, member of the Marseille Academy, director of the Roquevaire Organ Festival, author of books on music and religious heritage in Marseille, who participated in this exhibition.
